Knight Opticalova izbira po meri izdelanih laserskih ogledal - Laserska ogledala, excimer, argon-ionska, diodna in širokopasovna laserska ogledala

Knight Optical supply custom laser mirrors for use at specific laser lines from the UV (200 to 400nm) to the IR (1to 40µm) wavebands. The laser mirrors can be custom made to include the following range: 1 YAG laser mirrors (High power grade) 2 Excimer laser mirrors (High power grade) 3 Argon-ion laser mirrors (High power grade) 4 Diode & broadband (Ti:Sapphire) These mirrors are made from vacuum depositing thin films of material that have differing refractive indices & thickness onto suitable substrates. Typical custom laser mirror substrates are calcium fluoride, germanium, sapphire, fused silica and Zinc Selenide which produce a high efficiency reflecting surface at the laser wavelength. Knight Optical can offer Lithium Fluoride Windows for use within UV Applications. We supply a range of lithium fluoride windows for a range of applications. All individually QA checked &metrology tested for quality to ensure parts meet customer specification. Supplied in a range of sizes & shapes with custom coatings tailored to meet your individual applications. Knight Optical supply precision optical components to customers using UV optics such as UV lasers. UV lasers are beneficial in some applications as opposed to longer wavelengths such as infrared or visible light as they do not heat the areas around the target. This allows the laser the cut materials by breaking atomic bonds, rather than melting the material. Due to the large band gap for Lithium fluoride, it’s crystals are more transmittive to short wavelength UV radiation than any other material and are ideal for use in X-Ray monochromators, as for use in VUV, UV, Vis and IR spectrums. Typical custom laser mirror substrates are calcium fluoride, germanium, sapphire, fused silica and Zinc Selenide which produce a high efficiency reflecting surface at the laser wavelength. The coatings are assembled assuming that the mirror will be working in the plane of incidence. This is essential as any off-axis angles will push the pass band toward the shorter waveband that could be beyond the pass band for one or both polarizations (s and p). If off-axis reflections are needed, such as at 90°, then this coating needs to be applied for an Angle of Incidence (AOI) of 45°. READ PDF FOR MORE INFO .. Knight Optical We can offer Custom Moulded Aspheric Lenses for use with Laser Diode Collimators. Aspheric lens surfaces are used to correct spherical aberration (where the converging light from a lens does not have a common focal point, resulting in a distorted image) in lasers and imaging. Traditional spherical lenses cannot collimate light effectively because even small angles of incidence can produce spherical aberrations. This can mean that several components may be required to get the desired result. The non-spherical surface of an aspheric lens allows a single component to effectively focus or collimate even highly divergent emissions, potentially replacing a multi-lens system with a single aspheric lens. Therefore Aspheric Lenses that are moulded are ideal for use within laser diode-to-fibre coupling applications. For more information read PDF …. Knight Optical can offer Cube Beamsplitters for use within the Scientific Industry. We supply a range of Cube Beamsplitters for a range of applications. All individually QA checked and metrology tested for quality to ensure parts meet customer specification. Supplied in a range of sizes and shapes with custom coatings tailored to meet your individual applications. Knight Optical supply precision optical components to customers in the scientific industry for use as components within spectrophotometers and interferometer. For interferometry, beamsplitters are used to separate light into two beams to compare a reference against a sample. Cube beamsplitters offer some advantages over plate beamsplitters in that they don’t suffer from ghost images and are easier to mount.
